Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, our representative will warmly welcome you with a name board and a refreshing welcome drink. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, we begin the scenic drive to the Sigiriya area (approximately 3 to 3.5 hours).
On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful Sri Lankan countryside. We stop at a lovely Spice & Herbal Garden near Matale. Walk through the fragrant garden, learn about Ceylon spices like cinnamon and cardamom, and enjoy a refreshing herbal tea tasting.
In the afternoon, we visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb the stairs to explore five ancient caves filled with hundreds of Buddha statues and stunning 2,000-year-old wall paintings. The peaceful atmosphere and views over the surrounding plains are truly special. Later, check into your comfortable hotel in the Sigiriya/Habarana area. Relax by the pool or in the garden after your long journey.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we head to the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. This UNESCO World Heritage Site rises 200 meters above the jungle. Climb the iron staircases, admire the famous Sigiriya Frescoes (beautiful paintings of heavenly maidens), and walk along the Mirror Wall. At the summit, explore the ancient palace ruins and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and lakes.
After lunch (at your own cost), we drive towards Kandy through scenic roads. In the afternoon, we begin exploring the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world. Feel the spiritual atmosphere inside this beautiful temple complex.
If time allows, we can take a short walk around the peaceful Kandy Lake and enjoy the city view point.

After breakfast, we continue discovering Kandy. Visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Spread across 147 acres, this garden is famous for its amazing collection of tropical plants, orchids, spices, and giant trees. It is one of the most relaxing and photogenic places in Sri Lanka.
Later, we leave Kandy and drive into the misty hill country. Our first major stop is a lush Tea Plantation and Factory. Walk among the green tea bushes, watch tea pluckers at work, and learn the full process of making world-famous Ceylon Tea. Enjoy a fresh cup of tea with beautiful views of rolling hills.
Next, stop at the spectacular Ramboda Waterfall, one of the tallest in Sri Lanka. The powerful waterfall and misty mountain scenery create perfect photo opportunities. We then arrive in Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.” Enjoy the cool climate and colonial charm as we drive through the town. Visit the picturesque Gregory Lake, the historic red-and-white Post Office, and the famous Race Course.
Overnight: Nuwara Eliya (3-star hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis)
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. You can visit the beautiful town area, take photos of colonial buildings, or simply relax in the cool mountain air.
We then begin the scenic drive back towards Colombo or the Airport. The journey offers beautiful views of tea estates and mountains on the way down. Our driver will drop you at your hotel in Colombo or directly at the Bandaranaike International Airport according to your flight schedule.
